A beautiful antique oil lamp complete with the original Evered's burner, pink glass shade and Evered's glass chimney. The base of the oil lamp is Silver Plated and in the shape of a trophy cup with 3 handles. The Evered's duplex burner sits on top of the trophy and the font drops down inside. The bottom of the base is stamped with a silver plated hallmark for 'Boardman Glossop & Co' who were based in Sheffield in the 19th century and early 20th century.
The lamp comes with a stunning frilled pink glass shade. The pink colour is graduated and overlaid over a milk glass interior with a beautiful criss-cross pattern. The lamp also comes with it's original Evered's glass chimney.

The lamp is in good condition for its age and displays beautifully. The trophy cup base has been gently cleaned and polished however there are areas where the silver plating has tarnished and areas where it has worn away. The burner is in good shape and the wick turners move smoothly. The shade has a very small chip in one corner (see photo) but otherwise it is in good condition. The glass chimney is in excellent condition with just a few small nibbles around the rim. The oil lamp is untested and I have not had it burning with paraffin in. However it appears to be in good order and I see no reason why it should not work as designed.
