Good example of an antique elm topped stool dating from the late 19th Century. It has an oval solid elm top with a lovely dished shape. It stands on turned tapering legs joined by stretchers.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. It has a lovely patina with lots of signs of wear and use but it is strong and sturdy. There are general knocks and marks here and there but nothing detrimental and no major damages. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
