A lovely Victorian child's chair dating from the late 19th century. It is in the style of a traditional windsor chair and it has a shaped elm seat standing on ring turned legs joined by a H-stretcher. There is also a footrest below the seat.
It is in good original condition with no major damages. There are signs of age and use and some marks and light knocks on the seat and around the legs but nothing detrimental. It is strong and sturdy. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
The chair stands approximately 28" (72cm) high. It is 14" (36cm) wide and 16" (41cm) deep. The seat is 14 1/2" (37cm) high.
