A very sweet little child's chair dating from the mid to late 19th century. It is in the form of a traditional Windsor bar back chair with a shaped elm seat and curved arms supported by turned spindles. It has a curved back with central turned bar and stands on turned legs joined by a H-stretcher.
It is in good original condition and is strong and sturdy with no major damages. The patina on the wood is wonderful. There are some minor signs of age and use and some light marks and knocks on the seat and around the legs but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
