A fine example of an antique 3-piece tea set consisting of a tea pot, milk jug and sugar bowl. Each piece is decorated with swirling classical repoussé style patterns and the tea pot has an elegant ebonised wooden handle. The whole set is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 447g including the handles on the teapot. Each piece is clearly hallmarked for James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield. The teapot and milk jug are hallmarked for 1902 and the sugar bowl is hallmarked for 1900.
The whole set is in very good condition. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and a few light scratches and minor dinks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.
