A lovely antique oval wall mirror with a gilded and ebonised frame. It dates from the early to mid 19th Century and could be Irish in origin. The gilding is original and it has its original mirror plate which has worn in places to create a wonderful patina.
It is in good condition for its age with a wooden back. There are signs of age and use, some minor losses and knocks around the frame and a small crack in one end of the frame but it is stable and doesn't concern us. We have tried to leave it as original as possible. It has been lightly cleaned and is ready for use.
