A good example of an early 20th Century Chinoiserie design standard lamp in an unusual and striking green colour. It has hand painted gilt flowers and highlights with gilt reeding on the main column. The lamp stands on a heavy round foot with three small bun feet.
It has been rewired to modern standards to take a standard bayonet bulb and is in working order with a valid PAT test.
The lamp is in good condition with some minor signs of age and use and some losses and wear to the paint in places but nothing detrimental. It is strong and sturdy and displays beautifully.
