A lovely Chinese rice barrel with its original lid dating from the early 20th Century. Wooden construction with a beautiful lacquered and hand painted finish with brass handles. Decorated with traditional Chinese figures and pomegranates.
A great size for storage or a small side table.
It is in good condition for its age and displays very well. There are signs of age and use and some minor chips and losses to the paint in places but nothing detrimental and it has a beautiful patina.
