A very sweet child's chair dating from the late 19th century. It is in the form of a traditional Windsor chair with a hooped back enclosing turned spindles with a shaped elm seat. It stands on turned legs joined by a H-stretcher.
It is in good original condition and is strong and sturdy with no major damages. The patina on the wood is wonderful. There are some minor signs of age and use and some light marks and knocks on the seat and around the legs but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
