A good quality small salon armchair dating from the early 1900s. It has bulbous turned front legs and splayed rear legs terminating in brass castors. It is a traditional shape with a buttoned back and deep seat. It is upholstered in a vibrant burnt orange velvet which has faded and worn slightly over the years to produce a lovely patina.
The chair is in good condition for its age and is very comfortable. There are some light marks and small knocks around the legs but nothing detrimental.
The upholstery is not new but is generally clean and tidy. There are a few small marks, some minor hitches and some light areas of wear but nothing detrimental and no major damages. It is perfectly usable as it is or provides a good strong frame for recovering.
