A lovely burr walnut stationery cabinet dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It has a lovely warm patina and a sloped front with brass escutcheon.
The doors open out to reveal a series of racks for holding papers and letters. There is also a pen tray and two glass inkwells and below this there is a large drawer which is released by pulling a small brass rod.
It is in good condition and although it has been used it has been well looked after over the years. There are a few small knocks and marks around the outside and the inkwells are not original but overall it displays very well and comes with a working key. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
