Product Details

A good example of a Broad Arm Windsor chair dating from the late 19th century. It has a generous shaped seat on turned legs joined by a double stretcher. The hooped back has turned spindles around a central pierced splat on broad sweeping arms.

The chair stands approximately 45" (114cm) high, the seat is 19" (48cm) deep and arm to arm the chair is 26" (66cm)wide.

It is in good condition and is strong and sturdy with no signs of worm or any major damages. There are signs of age and use and some marks and light scratches on the seat and around the legs but nothing detrimental. It has developed a wonderful rich patina and has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
