An original Victorian "Britannia" pub table with a good quality cast iron base and wooden top. Dating from the late 19th Century the base has three legs cast into the figure of Britannia with ornate lions paw feet and a pierced shelf.
It is well made and is an extremely heavy piece. It is in good condition for its age. There are normal signs of age and use and a few light surface marks but no major damages and it is strong and sturdy. There is a slight shrinkage split on the wooden top but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
