A lovely brass tabletop gong dating from the early 20th century. It is a nice quality piece with an arched brass frame supporting the gong and scrolling detail that holds the beater. It is set on an oak base with small bun feet below.
It is in good condition for its age and has been lightly cleaned and polished. There are some signs of age and use, some tarnishing on the brass and some old marks and stains on the base and one brass finial is missing on the arch but overall it displays very well.
