A lovely art nouveau style desk lamp dating from the early 20th Century. It is a stylish piece with a heavy brass base and the original amber glass shade. The lamp is adjustable by slackening the wing screw on the side to move it backwards and forwards. The lamp has been re-wired and PAT Tested and is in good working order. It takes a standard bayonet bulb (bulb not included with lamp).
It is in good condition for its age. The brass has tarnished over time and there are some signs of age and use and some surface marks here and there but overall it displays very well. It has been lightly cleaned and is ready for use.
The base of the lamp measures approximately 6 1/2" (16cm) long. The glass shade is 9" (23cm) long and the lamp stands approximately 13" (33cm) tall.
