A lovely brass 3-arm chandelier dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It was originally a gas lamp which has been converted to electric and you can still see the taps at the beginning of each branch. It has three original tulip shaped glass shades with slightly frosted glass and a nice frilled golden edge.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. It has been lightly cleaned and polished to retain its aged patina. There are signs of age and use but no major damages and nothing detrimental.
It has been re-wired to modern standards and takes standard bayonet bulbs. We always recommend that the light is checked and installed by a professional electrician.
