A lovely small tea caddy dating from the mid to late 19th Century. It is made from black lacquered papier mache with a gilt border above the feet. Inside, it has two lidded compartments with small bone knobs.
It is in very good condition for its age. There are some signs of age and use, some minor marks and knocks and some wear and rubbing to the gilt detail but no major damages or anything detrimental. The inside is generally clean and tidy.
