A lovely Black Forest inkwell dating from the early 20th Century. It has a traditional carved figure of a bear next to a tree stump with a hinged lid that conceals a glass inkwell inside. The base is nicely carved with a dished pen tray at the front.
It is in very good condition with no major damages. There are some general signs of age and use, some small knocks and minor marks but nothing detrimental and it displays well.
