A lovely bankers' style desk lamp dating from the early 20th Century. It is a very well made and stylish piece with a heavy cast base, brass arm and black shade. There is an on/off switch in the base and the position of the brass arm can be adjusted as well as the angle of the shade.
The lamp has been re-wired and PAT Tested and is in good working order. It takes a standard bayonet bulb (not included with the lamp).
It is in excellent condition for its age and has a lovely authentic patina. There are signs of age and use and some minor dinks and surface marks here and there but nothing detrimental. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
