A superb bank of drawers dating from the mid 19th Century. They are likely to have been used in a workshop or shop and have developed the most wonderful patina showing years of use. There are 11 drawers in total, each with a small turned wooden knob and cross-banded edge. The top of the chest also has the same cross-banded edging.
It is in good condition. The drawers are generally clean and tidy and it is certainly a very usable piece. There are various knocks, marks, chips and splits and plenty of signs of age and use but no major damages and it displays beautifully.
