A good example of a large solid Silver cigarette case with gilt interior. It is a typical art deco design with engine turned detail and small engraved monogram 'HP'. It is good quality, weighing approximately 150g.
It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1931 and the maker Saunders & Shepherd.
It is in good condition for its age. There are a few small dinks and surface marks and light scratches but no major damages and overall it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.
