A good antique bench dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It has a solid fruitwood seat set on three supports with a central stretcher. One end of the bench is flat and the other rounded, most likely custom-made for a country estate where one end would have been put flat against the wall. A good height for using at a table or in a hallway.
It is in good condition with a lovely rich patina and it is strong and sturdy. There are some light marks and general signs of age and use but nothing detrimental.
