A good 3-bottle oak tantalus dating from the late 19th Century. The oak frame has brass mounts and a brass handle which folds back and releases the bottles when the lock is clicked. The cut glass bottles are original and are good quality with star cut bases and their original ground stoppers.
It is in good condition throughout and displays well. There are some general signs of age and use, a few small knocks and marks but nothing detrimental and no major damages to the bottles. It does not come with a key but the click-lock still works. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
