A rare anglo-indian carved tripod table, dating from the late 19th Century. The round top is traditionally decorated with profusely carved foliage, animals, figures and houses with a beaded edge. The legs too are profusely carved with scrolling vines and leaves. The table is made from very high quality teak which has developed a wonderful rich colour over the years.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. There are signs of age and use, some minor chips and small losses but no major damages and the table is strong and sturdy.
