A fine example of an antique tea and coffee set consisting of a coffee pot, tea pot, milk jug and sugar bowl. It is a stylish set with an angular Art Deco style shape. The quality is superb and the silver is a good heavy gauge with a combined weight of 1369g.
Each piece is clearly hallmarked for William Neale & Son, Birmingham. The teapot, sugar and milk date to 1938 and the coffee pot dates to 1937.
The whole set is in excellent condition. There are some faint surface marks and a few light scratches and small dinks but nothing untoward or detrimental and the set displays very well. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.
