A good quality and very decorative oil painting of a bulldog dating from the 19th Century. The painting is on canvas and is framed in a gilt frame.
It measures approximately 12" (30cm) high x 14" (36cm) wide including the frame.
The painting is in good original condition. There are signs of age, some surface marks and discolouration but overall it displays well. There are some losses and small damages around the frame but the gilding is bright and it has a good aged look. The painting has been lightly cleaned and is ready to hang.
