A good quality and very decorative oil painting of a bay horse dating from the 19th Century. The painting is on canvas and is framed in an ebonised frame with a gilt slip.
It measures approximately 24 3/4" (63cm) high x 29" (74cm) wide including the frame.
The painting is in good original condition. There are signs of age, some surface marks, discolouration and some slight crackling of the varnish in places but overall it displays well. The frame is in good condition with a few minor losses but nothing detrimental. The painting has been lightly cleaned and is ready to hang.
