A large decorative oil painting on canvas of Venetian fishing boats, dating from the 19th Century. It is not signed but is likely by a follower of Frank Brangwyn. It is an accomplished painting and has been recently re-framed in a good quality gilt frame.
It measures approximately 28 1/2" (72cm) wide x 21" (53cm) high including the frame.
The painting is in good original condition. There are signs of age, some minor surface marks and some slight crackling and minor losses in places but overall it displays well. The frame is in good condition. The painting has been lightly cleaned and is ready to hang.
