A superb 18th Century low Spanish table with a solid one-piece Walnut top. The top stands on ornate carved legs supported by the original metal work. It is a low table, suitable for a coffee table or behind a sofa, but there are no obvious signs that it has ever been reduced in height.
The table has a lot of character and the patination is just superb. There are many old surface marks and signs of age and use and some old repairs but it is a very solid and sturdy piece. There are signs of historic worm below the top and in the legs which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the table structurally or aesthetically. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
