Product Details

A good example of an 18th Century solid Sterling silver serving spoon. It is a simple plain design with the faintest engraved stag crest monogram on the tip of the handle. It is a good quality piece and weighs approximately 68g.

It measures approximately 8 1/4" (21cm) long and the spoon bowl itself is 1 1/2" (4cm) wide x 3" (8cm) long.

It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1768 and the makers Thomas Evans & George Smith III.
It is in very good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface scratches and a few light marks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
