A good example of an 18th Century Sterling Silver sauce boat. It is a stylish piece with an elegant curved handle and three hooved feet. It is a good quality piece, weighing approximately 114g.
It is clearly hallmarked for David Hennell, London, 1749.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and small dents in the base by the legs where they may have taken a few knocks over the years but nothing detrimental and overall it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.
