Product Details

A good example of an antique Sterling Silver milk or cream jug. It is a small bulbous shape with an elegant scrolling handle, wavy rim and three feet. The jug is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 80g.

It is hallmarked on the underneath. The mark is a little rubbed however the crowned leopard's head for London and the Lion Passant are clearly visible as is the maker's mark I.W. The date letter O is slightly rubbed but the shape is distinguishable and this ties up with the makers mark for 1749.

It is in very good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks, small dinks and signs of age and use but nothing detrimental and it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
