A charming country oak side table dating from the 18th century. It has a planked overhanging top and stands on balluster turned legs with square stretchers. It has a single drawer with its original small brass plate handles.
It is in excellent condition with a lovely rich patina and is strong and sturdy. There are a few old stains and marks inside the drawer but it opens well, having had the runners recently repaired. There are signs of age and use, some surface marks and some historic repairs but it is a good honest original table and it displays very well.
It has been cleaned and given a light polish and is ready for use. The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions please ask.
