An unusual oak serving cupboard dating from the mid to late 18th Century. It has a planked top above an open shelf and below are two panelled cupboard doors. It comes with a working key. It stands on block feet and has nicely panelled sides with a pegged construction.
It is in good condition for its age and the oak has a lovely patina. It is strong and sturdy and the interior is generally clean and tidy. There are of course signs of age and use, some light knocks and marks, old splits and some minor repairs but nothing untoward or detrimental. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
