A lovely oak gateleg dining table dating from the early 18th Century. It is a traditional gateleg design with two oval leaves. The legs have unusual elongated bobbin and ring turnings with square stretchers and the original wooden hinges.
The planked top has an attractive aged patina and lovely rich colour. It is a good size and comfortably seats 4-6.
It is in good condition and is strong and sturdy. There are signs of age and use as to be expected, some surface marks, light knocks and wear around the bottom of the feet but no major damages and overall it displays very well.
