Product Details

A good example of an 18th Century solid Sterling silver serving spoon. It is a simple plain design with the faintest engraved stag crest monogram on the tip of the handle. It is a good quality piece and weighs approximately 59g.

It is clearly hallmarked for Dublin, 1778. The makers mark is slightly worn but appears to be for Michael Keating.
It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface scratches inside the bowl and a few light marks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.

Approximate Measurements:

Length : 8 1/4" / 21cm

Bowl : 2 3/4" / 7cm x 1 3/4" / 4.5cm
