A fine example of a Georgian toddy ladle with a long turned wooden handle and a solid Sterling Silver bowl. The ladle is excellent quality and is clearly hallmarked for London, 1727. The makers mark is slightly rubbed but I believe it is most probably George Greenhill Jones.
It is in very good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some small dinks around the ladle and some faint surface marks and a few light scratches but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
