A superb 18th Century Farmhouse table which has been reduced in height to make a fantastic coffee table. The table has a thick planked top with breadboard ends and it stands on square chamfered legs joined by a central stretcher. There is a large drawer at one end with a turned knob.
The table has a lot of character and the patination is just superb. There are many old surface marks and signs of age and use and some old repairs but it is a very solid and sturdy piece. There are signs of historic worm and rot in the legs and stretchers which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the table structurally or aesthetically. The table has been cleaned and gently polished to retain its patina and is ready for use.
