An attractive 18th Century Longcase Clock by William Harris of Chippenham, circa 1780. 8-day striking movement. Brass dial with second hand and date, engraved with the maker's name. Above the dial is a figure that rocks back and forth with the ticking of the clock in a circle that reads "Tempus Fugit".
Oak case with fluted columns flanking the dial, turned posts with ball finials, a shaped door with working key and a square base with plinth and small feet.
Good working order.
