A lovely Victorian farmhouse table dating from the late 19th Century. It has a thick planked pine top and stands on turned legs with a single drawer. The legs have their original dark stained finish and the pine top has a wonderful patina and lovely warm colour.
It is a good size, big enough to seat 4-6 comfortably, and a good height to sit at with ample leg clearance of 24 1/2" (62cm) all the way around.
It is in good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy. There are various signs of age and use and many old marks and knocks on the top surface and a slight shrinkage gap between two planks but nothing untoward or detrimental. It has been cleaned and lightly waxed and is ready for use.
