A good quality mahogany table dating from the mid to late 19th century. It stands on turned tapering legs and has two drawers, each with small turned wooden knobs. It has a raised shaped gallery around the top and a useful lower shelf, making it perfect as a side table, washstand or small writing table.
It is in very good condition with a beautiful rich patina. There are signs of age and use, some small marks on the top surface and a minor chip on the back edge but no major damages or anything detrimental. The drawers open well and are generally clean and tidy. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
