A good quality Victorian mahogany Piano Stool with an adjustable seat. The stool stands on four turned and splayed legs joined to a central turned support. The seat is upholstered in a pretty needlepoint floral design with velvet band.
It can be adjusted in height by spinning the seat around to move it up or down. At its lowest adjustable position it is approximately 18 1/2" (47cm) and at its highest adjustable position it is approximately 22" (56cm).
It is in good condition for its age. The revolving mechanism runs smoothly with very minimal give side to side and when extended upwards the stool is very stable. The wood is free from any major knocks or splits and is overall a sturdy construction. There are some small marks and minor knocks around the base but nothing detrimental. The upholstery is clean and tidy and displays well and is certainly a very usable piece.
