A large mahogany chest of drawers dating from the late 19th Century. They stand on turned bun feet with two short over three long drawers, each with their original turned wooden knobs and brass escutcheons. They are good quality set with a lovely rich patina and warm colour.
They are in good condition for their age. There are signs of age and use with a few knocks and surface marks and a couple of old repairs here and there but nothing detrimental or untoward and they display well. The drawers open smoothly and are generally clean and tidy inside. The chest has been cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
