A beautiful mahogany chest of drawers dating from the mid to late 19th Century. Excellent quality and very well made with a lovely patina and attractive flame mahogany drawer fronts. It has its original turned knobs and stands on a plinth base and turned bun feet.
It is in very good condition for its age and has been beautifully polished.. The drawers open well and are generally clean and tidy inside. There are the usual small signs of wear, some minor marks on the top, a couple of old repairs and some small chips around the base but nothing detrimental or untoward. There are some minor historic signs of worm in the back which have all been treated as a precaution. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
