A lovely three-tier walnut whatnot dating from the late 19th century. The shelves are supported by elegant turned supports with turned finials and the upper tier has an attractive pierced gallery. The whatnot stands on turned feet with its original ceramic castors.
It is in good condition for its age and is a good quality piece with lovely rich timbers. There are signs of age and use, some minor marks and light knocks and a couple of small chips around the edges but no major damages and it displays well. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
