A beautiful mahogany chest of drawers dating from the early 19th Century. The drawers have small brass knobs and it stands on its original turned bun feet. The top drawer is divided internally into two halves. They are excellent quality and very well made with a lovely rich patina and fine dovetail joints.
It is in very good condition for its age. The drawers open smoothly and are generally clean and tidy inside. There are the usual small signs of wear, some minor old marks and knocks and a repair to a small chip on the back corner but nothing untoward or detrimental. The back is clean and sturdy.
