A lovely mahogany chest of drawers dating from the late 18th /early 19th Century. They are a nice small size with four long drawers and an attractive bow front standing on bracket feet. The drawers have brass plate handles which, although aren't original, suit the piece well. It is an excellent quality set of drawers with lovely rich timbers and solid ebony cockbeading around the drawer fronts.
They are in good condition for their age with a lovely colour and patina. The drawers open well and are generally clean and tidy inside. There are the usual signs of age and use, some minor old marks and knocks and a small repair at the back of the top surface but nothing untoward and they display well. They have been cleaned and gently polished and are ready for use.
