A small mahogany chest of drawers dating from the early 19th Century. It has an attractive bow front and stands on bracket feet. It has three drawers, each with brass plate handles and it also comes with a working key.
It is in good condition for its age. The drawers open smoothly and are generally clean and tidy inside. There are the usual signs of wear and use, some minor old marks and knocks and small shrinkage splits but nothing detrimental. There have been some repairs over the years, particularly to the edges of the top and the feet but it is strong and sturdy and overall it displays well.
