A good example of an elegant regency mahogany table dating from the early 19th Century. It stands on solid end supports joined by a delicate turned stretcher and it has bun feet with its original castors below. It is a good quality piece adorned with decorative roundels and nicely carved scrolling corbels and the top has an attractive plum pudding grain. It is beautifully finished on all four sides of the table, making it suitable as a centre table or side table.
It is in excellent condition for its age and has a lovely rich colour. There are signs of age and use and some minor old marks on the top surface and small knocks around the base but nothing untoward or detrimental and no major damages. It is a good sturdy table and has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
