A charming country oak side table dating from the early 19th Century. It stands on square tapering legs with a planked overhanging top and single drawer. The drawer has a brass knob and ebonised border which matches the border around the top edge.
The back leg once opened out to support an additional leaf which has at some point been removed and the leg fixed in place to make the table strong and sturdy.
It is in good condition with a lovely patina. There are normal signs of age and use, some light knocks and surface marks but nothing detrimental and overall it displays well. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
